About The Fine Art Images -
KC Montgomery's
fine art illustrations are created in a digital
environment and yet each image is painted and finished
by hand. Starting with an image created in his camera,
KC creates a digital illustration as a basis for
the print. Using the latest technology he hand paints
his images with digital pressure sensitive brushes
creating the painted finish. After the image is
complete, it is then printed with a fine art printer
onto high grade linen canvas and stretched onto
a frame. Ready for the finish, KC then varnishes
the print with a high gloss textured varnish and
adds more color by hand to complete the finish.

In 2004 KC's
"Legacy of a Champion" illustration of
Radical Rodder won the Southwest Professional Photographers
of America print competition as the best illustration.
Entered into the Professional Photographers of America
(PPA) National Print Competition in Las Vegas, along
with his other three merit prints, "Legacy"
was chosen to go into the PPA Loan Collection.
Our goal is
to offer fine art at an affordable price, providing
